Description

Dextrose, or corn sugar, is a monosaccharide, that unlike cane sugar, is readily fermentable by yeast with no enzymatic cleavage required. This makes it predictable and easy to dose. Preferred by many winemakers for refermentation (sparkling wine, bottle conditioning), for feeding yeast in stuck fermentations, and in some fortification protocols.
