Top hatches are highly useful in any sealed-top tank and must-haves for tanks that will be used for red fermentation. The hatch allows access for making additions, pumping over or punching down, and gives top-down access for cleaning.Centered top hatches are ideal for tank applications where a catwalk allows access to the center of the tank ceiling, or tanks with smaller diameters where the hatch could be reached while on a ladder.
